The Pomona Valley African American community is doing great things in Pomona Valley but some of us don't know each other or what each other is doing. I really like what I read on the Ujima website, "There is a sociological theory that states every community has the collective ability to address and resolve its own needs". There is no need to re-create  the wheel. It is in our DNA to be a collective group. I am hoping we can get back to that. It is about the children who are our future, we must show them and set the example for generations to come!
